  • Description: Join Career and Professional Development (CPD) for an overview of their latest virtual tools that will give students 24/7 access to career-related assistance, including resume reviews, interview prep, career research, course assignments, and more. Through live demonstrations, you'll learn what’s new in CPD and how to integrate these resources into your advising sessions and courses to better support students in achieving their professional goals.

The Unique Needs of International Students Navigating Higher Education

  • Description: During this session, we will discuss the unique questions and challenges that may arise when advising international students and share resources available to advisors and students, ideas for new supportive programming, and examples of successes in navigating challenges. Advisors will learn about helpful questions to ask international advisees, resources for international students across campus, and strategies for being inclusive and welcoming to students with different backgrounds.
