The Advising Network hosts several social events throughout the year. These events are typically located off campus and are not funded by the university. Unless otherwise advertised, expenses for attending these events are the responsibility of attendees.

Welcome Back Social
- Description: Stop by when you can, a great chance to catch up after Winter Break.
- Date: Tuesday, January 27
- Time: 5:15-7:00 p.m.
- Location: McClain’s at First & Main in Blacksburg
Hokies Women’s Basketball Game Social
- Description: Come help us cheer on the Women’s Basketball Team against George Tech!
- Date: Sunday, February 22
- Time: Meet at 1:30 p.m., Game begins at 2:00 p.m.
- Location: Cassell Coliseum
Coffee Hour Social
- Description: You deserve a coffee break and a chance to connect with others on campus.
- Date: Wednesday, March 4
- Time: 9:00-10:30 a.m.
- Location: Coffeeholics in Blacksburg
Picnic on the Drillfield Social
- Description: Bring your lunch and a blanket (optional) for a picnic on the Drillfield.
- Date: Monday, April 13
- Time: 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
- Location: The Drillfield on campus (an indoor location will be available depending on weather)
End of Semester Social: Sponsored by the VT Property Management Degree Program
- Description: You made it to the end of the semester – the VT Property Management Degree Program is buying drinks and food to help us celebrate!
